STEP 1: DESIGNATE AN IN PERSON MEETING PLACE FOR YOUR PATROL (WEAR MASKS) W/ 2 ADULTS
STEP 2: ENSURE YOU HAVE A PHONE, LAPTOP, iPAD OR OTHER ZOOM CAPABLE DEVICE
(A TRIPOD, TABLE, OR ADULT TO HOLD THE DEVICE WILL BE HELPFUL)
STEP 3: ENSURE YOU COME PREPARED (FLAG, PATROL UNIFORM, TENT, LIST OF EVENTS)
STEP 4: KNOW YOUR ZOOM LOGIN INFO (SEE BELOW) & EVENT TIME

3O MINUTE EVENT TIMELINE:

FIRST 5 MINUTES:
when a patrol logs in to their scheduled event time they will test their video and audio with the judges. they will then introduce themselves, display their flag, give their yell, ask any questions & receive instruction from the judges panel. on "go" the judges will start a timer...

next 20 minutes: 
The patrol has twenty minutes to complete as many of the event tasks as possible (in whatever order they choose (they are worth different points so strategize appropriately- see scoring page for POINTS). Note- the judges will NOT prompt the patrols to complete tasks or give instruction on how to complete tasks for divisions 1 & 2. adult leaders and parents should not intervene or assist for divisions 1 & 2 - please help for division 3 (webelos and 1st year scouts).
Be prepared for the event and show your scout spirit at all times! WE SUGGEST WRITING THESE DOWN SO YOU DON'T MISS ANYTHING:

the Judges will give a 5 minute warning. At the end of the 20 minutes, the judges will say "Stop"

Final 5 minutes:
Scouts will then have the opportunity to say goodbye
and show any additional spirit prior to logging out

fyi: the judges have to leave immediately to get into another zoom, but if there are any issues or discrepancies please have the scoutmaster contact staff on the event home page.
